About Naptime Village
A mom blog for the middle of real family life.
Naptime Village is a family-run space for the practical parts of motherhood: feeding kids, keeping the house moving, making simple routines, and sharing what actually works in a busy home.
You will find recipes, home projects, kid-friendly ideas, product notes, and honest reflections from our life in rural Pennsylvania with four kids.
This is not a perfect-house project. It is a place for useful ideas, lived-in systems, and the kind of notes one mom would pass to another during the quiet part of the day.
Family Meals
Simple dinners, make-ahead breakfasts, snack ideas, and recipes that fit real family schedules.
Mom Routines
Practical rhythms for school mornings, quiet time, pantry resets, errands, and busy seasons.
Home Projects
Lived-in home updates, product reviews, cleaning notes, and projects we have actually tried.
Honest Notes
The useful parts of motherhood, homemaking, and feeding a family without pretending it is perfect.
Our Family
Hi. We are Sharon and Austin Nissley.
Sharon writes from the everyday work of feeding a family, caring for kids, and making a home. Austin helps build the site and the tools behind it. Together, this space lets us organize the recipes, routines, and projects we keep reaching for.
